A fully funded scholarship is a full scholarship. Fully funded scholarships cover tuition fees, accommodation costs, monthly living costs, health insurance costs, and other costs. SCHOLARSHIPS FROM ABROAD GOVERNMENTS

1. Chevening Scholarship (UK Government)

 

This scholarship is organized by the British government (UK) and is aimed at young people around the world to continue their studies in the UK. This scholarship is aimed at those of you who have above average academic scores and want to continue your Masters studies. This scholarship is fully funded so you don’t need to worry about costs anymore while studying in England. 

2. Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) Scholarship

If your study destination is Australia, then you should not miss this scholarship opportunity. The AAS scholarship is fully funded for those of you who want to study Masters or PhD at various leading universities in Australia.

3. Manaaki New Zealand Scholarships (New Zealand)

Another country in the Oceania region that also offers fully funded scholarship opportunities at prestigious world universities is New Zealand. Through the Manaaki New Zealand Scholarship, you have the opportunity to experience world-class learning and research for free. This scholarship is also fully funded , so you just have to focus on studying later. 

4. DAAD Scholarship (Germany)

The 2024-2025 DAAD Scholarship is a full scholarship for international students who wish to undertake a master’s or doctoral program at leading universities in Germany. This scholarship is intended to educate the best prospective practitioners in the field of sustainable development in their respective countries. This scholarship lasts between 12 and 36 months, depending on the duration of the study program chosen.

DAAD Scholarship Coverage:

  • Monthly allowance of 934 euros for Master’s students
  • Travel costs, unless these costs are covered by the country of origin or other funding sources.
  • Health, accident, and personal liability insurance payments.
  • One-time study allowance.
  • In specific situations, individuals awarded scholarships may be eligible for the following extra advantages:
    • Monthly rental subsidy.
    • Monthly allowance for participating family members.

 

Eligibility Criteria for DAAD Scholarship 2024:

To qualify for the 2024 DAAD Scholarships for Masters and Doctorates in Germany, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants have a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate subject.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of professional experience.
  • Applicants can prove their motivation related to development and are expected to be able to take social responsibility as well as initiate and support change processes in their personal and professional environment after completing the training/scholarship.
  • Note: Some study programs may require additional documents. For further information, see the relevant course descriptions in the brochure and on the respective websites. To be considered, applications must be submitted in either English or German.

 

5. Chinese Government Scholarship 

 

The CSC Scholarship 2024-2025 is a full scholarship for international students available for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral studies at more than 280 universities in China. The Chinese Government Scholarship covers accommodation, basic health insurance and a monthly stipend of up to 3500 Yuan. This scholarship aims to promote education, culture, exchanges in education and politics, cooperation, and mutual understanding between other countries and China. Students from every country worldwide are welcome to apply

CSC Scholarship Benefits 2024:

The Chinese Government Scholarship provides the following benefits to recipients:

  • Type A Scholarships cover registration fees, accommodation (in a university dormitory in a shared room with others), basic health insurance, and a monthly allowance for personal expenses (between 2,500 and 3,500 Yuan per month, about 350 to 500 USD).
  • Type B scholarships cover the same things as Type A scholarships, except for a monthly allowance for personal expenses.
  • Type C Scholarship is a type of partial scholarship with fewer benefits.

CSC Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Requirements:

Following are the minimum eligibility requirements for the Chinese Government Scholarship:

  • International Students (Not Chinese citizens).
  • Have no other scholarships awarded by the Chinese government or its delegation.
  • Minimum Age Requirement:
    • For master’s programs, the age limit is 35 years.
    • For doctoral programs, the age limit is 40 years.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree to master’s program.

Deadline:

CSC Scholarships 2024 are usually from December 15, 2023 to April 30, 2024. Some authorized agencies or universities may have different deadlines. You should check the deadlines of your chosen university.

6. Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2024-2025

Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2024-2025 is a full scholarship for international students offered for undergraduate and master’s studies. This scholarship provides a monthly stipend of BND$ 650, accommodation, and exemption from tuition fees.

The Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship is open to international students who intend to pursue undergraduate and master’s studies at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Kolej Universiti Pendidikan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), and Brunei Polytechnic (PB) in Brunei Darussalam. This scholarship is fully funded and designed to attract high-quality students from abroad.

Scholarship Coverage

 

The Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship will provide recipients with the following benefits:

 

  • Exemption from paying tuition fees, including acceptance, examination, registration and orientation fees during the program.
  • Economy class plane tickets to Brunei Darussalam from the country of origin/settlement of the prospective scholarship recipient before the start of the program and economy class plane tickets from Brunei Darussalam to the country of origin/settlement of the prospective scholarship recipient after completing the program.
  • Monthly personal allowance of BND$500.00.
  • The monthly food allowance is BND$150.00.
  • The annual book allowance is BND$600.00.
  • Accommodation in university/polinema dormitories.
  • Baggage allowance for sending personal items of scholarship recipients to their country of origin/residence after completing the program, with a maximum amount of:
    • BND$250.00 to countries in the ASEAN region; or
    • BND$500.00 to countries outside the ASEAN region.
  • Comprehensive insurance cover for the entire duration of the Scholarship. Scholarship recipients are encouraged to obtain additional insurance before traveling to Brunei Darussalam and for the entire duration of the Scholarship at their own expense.

Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

 

To qualify for the Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Required Language: English, Malay, or Arabic.
  • Eligible Countries: Applications are open to citizens of, but not limited to, ASEAN, Commonwealth, and OIC member countries.
  • Applicants must be between 18-25 years of age for bachelor’s and diploma programs and must not exceed the age of 35 for master’s programs by 31 July 2024.
  • This award does NOT apply to Permanent Residents of Brunei Darussalam.
  • This scholarship may not be accepted in conjunction with any other scholarship, fellowship, grant, or loan without prior approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • Scholarship recipients are NOT encouraged to bring family members with them for the duration of the Scholarship.
  • Scholarship recipients are NOT permitted to perform paid work or serve on the staff of any country’s representative mission in Brunei Darussalam for the duration of the Scholarship.
  • Upon completion of the program, scholarship recipients will be required to leave Brunei Darussalam immediately.

SCHOLARSHIPS FROM UNIVERSITIES ABROAD

1. Utercht University (Netherland)

The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship 2024-2025 is a full scholarship for a Masters program for international students organized by Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Every year, 25 students are entitled to this scholarship. Utrecht University, is an institution known as one of the leading research universities in Europe. The university also offers English-language programs that appeal to around 1,500 international students each year.

 

Utrecht Excellence Scholarship Coverage 2024-2025:

 

  • The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the master’s program at Utrecht University.
  • Also covers the necessary living expenses for one year according to the requirements of a study residence permit in the Netherlands.
  • The scholarship can be extended for a second year if the student shows satisfactory progress.

 

Utrecht Excellence Scholarship Requirements:

 

  • English proficiency is required to qualify.
  • Prospective scholarship recipients do not have an EU passport and are not eligible for support under the Dutch scholarship and loan system.
  • Must be in the top 10% of graduating class.
  • Have completed secondary school and/or undergraduate education outside the Netherlands.
  • Have applied for an international master’s program with start in September 2024.
  • Must be able to meet Dutch visa/residence permit requirements.
  • Failure to meet one or more of these criteria means the student is ineligible for the scholarship.

 

Application Deadline Date:

  • The application deadline is February 1 each year

2. Twente University (Netherland)

 

University of Twente Scholarships 2024-2025 is a fully funded opportunity for international students who wish to pursue a master’s program in the Netherlands. The scope of this scholarship covers a value range of between €3,000 to €22,000 for one year, with the possibility of getting additional UTS for the second year’s fees. Apart from that, the university also has two additional scholarships, namely the Kipaji Scholarship and the Professor de Winter Scholarship, also available with special conditions

 

University of Twente Scholarship Coverage:

 

  • The scholarship value is between €3,000 – €22,000 for one year.
  • For two-year study programs, students can receive additional UTS to cover the costs of the second year, but conditions must be met.
  • Certain graduation requirements are by the end of the third quarter of the first year.

 

University of Twente Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

 

  • English: Meets the general English test requirements, Academic IELTS 6.5 (or TOEFL iBT 90) with an additional 6.0 (TOEFL iBT 20) in the speaking sub-score.
  • Eligible Countries: All World Countries.
  • Scholarship application is a separate procedure from application for admission to the University of Twente. You must get an acceptance letter first.
  • Have been (provisionally) accepted into one of UT’s eligible master’s programs.
  • Must have a student number.
  • Have not graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s program at UT.
  • Eligible for obtaining an entry visa in the Netherlands (if applicable).
  • Not eligible for Dutch study loans.
  • UT scholarships are aimed at very good students, generally meaning you are in the top 5 to 10 percent of your class.

 

Deadline:

  • Round 1: 15 October 2023 to 1 February 2024
  • Round 2: 1 February 2024 to 1 May 2024

 

 

3. University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2024-2025

 

The University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2024-2025 is a full scholarship for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels for international students. This scholarship will provide a monthly stipend of BND 500.00, tuition fee waiver, on-campus accommodation, and a stipend for field research (BND 1000.00 for Arts and Humanities fields, and BND 2000.00 for Science candidates).

 

This highly competitive scholarship is offered by the University of Brunei Darussalam to outstanding students interested in pursuing doctoral studies after achieving excellence in their master’s degree.

 

University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship Coverage:

 

  • Living allowance of BND 500.00 per month for 36 months.
  • Waiver of tuition fees, including registration and acceptance fees at the University of Brunei Darussalam.
  • Accommodation on campus for 36 months.
  • Stipend for field research (BND 1000.00 for Arts and Humanities fields, and BND 2000.00 for Science candidates).
  • For candidates who do not live in Brunei Darussalam, round-trip economy air tickets will be provided from their home country when receiving the scholarship and to their home country after completing their studies.

 

Eligibility Criteria for University of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships:

 

  • Required Language: English
  • Eligible Countries: All Countries in the World
  • Bachelor’s degree with upper class honors and a Master’s degree with a good publication track record after completing a Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Or, a Bachelor’s degree with first class honors and a Master’s degree with distinction or equivalent qualifications.
  • Able to pursue studies in the chosen field.
  • High quality, high impact research design.
  • For all programs, applicants must have at least a credit score of 6 in English at the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination or a grade of ‘B’ in IGCSE English (as a Second Language) or an IELTS score of 6.0 or a TOEFL score of at least 550.

 

 

4. Melbourne Research Scholarship (MRS) 2024-2025

 

The Melbourne Research Scholarship (MRS) 2024-2025 is a full scholarship for international students. There are approximately 350 scholarships available for master’s and doctoral research studies. This scholarship offers a living stipend of $37,000 per year, full fee waiver, Single Type Overseas Student Health Insurance (OSHC) membership, relocation allowance, and many other benefits.

Melbourne Research Scholarships (MRS) are open to international students from around the world who wish to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Melbourne, Australia. This scholarship provides a stipend, as well as a fee waiver, and is awarded for a number of courses offered by various Schools in Melbourne. Eligible applicants are assessed and ranked based on their recent academic achievements and their research potential in their field of study.

Melbourne Research Scholarships provide beneficiaries with a range of benefits, including:

 

  • Benefits and fee waivers:
  • Full fee exemption for a maximum of two years for students pursuing a Master by Research degree or a maximum of four years for students pursuing a doctoral degree.
  • A living allowance of $37,000 per year (2024 full-time study rate) for a maximum of two years for students pursuing a Master by Research degree or a maximum of 3.5 years for students pursuing a doctoral degree. This living allowance may be indexed annually and includes sick leave, maternity leave, and limited paid parental leave.

    5. BI Presidential Scholarship (Norway)

    The BI Presidential Scholarship 2024-2025 is a full master’s level scholarship for international students. This scholarship covers full tuition fees and an allowance for living expenses each semester.

     

    BI Norwegian Business School is the largest business school in Norway and the second largest in all of Europe. BI has four campuses with the main campus located in Oslo. This university has 845 employees consisting of 404 academic staff and 441 administrative staff.

     

    Awarded to students who have an excellent track record of academic achievement, the BI Presidential Scholarship is open to Norwegian and international applicants. This scholarship is open to all Master of Science programs.

     

    BI Presidential Scholarship Coverage:

    • The scholarship will cover full tuition and a stipend for living expenses each semester, for up to two years, if you meet academic progress requirements.

    Eligibility Criteria for the BI Presidential Scholarship:

    • Required Language: English
    • Eligible Countries: All Countries in the World
    • Candidates with a GPA of A on the ECTS scale or equivalent upper level grades on the international grade scale apply and are accepted into the Master of Science program.
    • Students currently enrolled in the BI Siviløkonom program are eligible to apply in their third year.
    • The BI Presidential Scholarship is open to applicants from all Master of Science programs.
