1. Airport Railroad Express (AREX)

Incheon Airport is connected to the city of Seoul via the Airport Railroad Express (AREX) airport train line . AREX has two types of trains that can take you from Incheon to Seoul or vice versa. First, there is the Express Train which passes Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Incheon Airport and goes straight to Seoul Station.
The second type of train available is the All Stop Train . This train will stop at all subway stations around Seoul.

If your destination is Seoul Station, you should choose the Express Train. The advantage is that you can arrive at Seoul Station from Incheon Airport (Terminal 1 or Terminal 2) with a fast travel time: only 45 minutes!

If your destination is not Seoul Station, or you decide you want to stop somewhere else first, the All Stop Train could be the right choice. The advantage of taking this train is that the cost is cheaper than the Express Train.
However, it should also be noted that the travel time is a little longer. To reach Seoul Station using the All Stop Train will take around one hour. Because, this train will stop at 11 Seoul subway stations, including Gongdeok Station and Hongik University.
For All Stop Train tickets, you can buy them at the Transportation Center on floor B1, the mini market and the Tourist Information Center at the airport.

2. Airport Bus or Airport Bus

Another affordable way to get to Seoul from Incheon Airport is by taking the airport bus. The airport bus also has comfortable seats, so you can relax throughout the journey to Seoul.
The airport bus option is very suitable for those of you who book hotels located outside the city center. Because, there will be many bus routes that you can choose from.

Types of airport buses

There are two types of buses that you can choose: deluxe and standard. The deluxe type airport bus will make fewer stops and go directly to downtown Seoul. The route passes large hotels and popular tourist attractions in Seoul.
Apart from that, the advantages of taking a deluxe type airport bus are comfortable seats and spacious legroom. Perfect for relaxing and stretching your legs after a long journey from Indonesia.

Standard type taxi fares in Seoul start from 3,800 KRW and the meter will continue to increase according to the distance traveled. Apart from that, you also need to prepare additional costs such as toll fees and there are also additional costs if you take a taxi at night. So you need to think about that too, okay?
