2. Tian Tian Buddha

Located on Lantau Island, the Big Buddha is a huge bronze statue more than 112 feet or about 34 meters high. You can reach this statue by taking the Ngong Ping 360 cable car , which also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and sea. After arriving at the top, you can explore Po Lin Monastery and learn about local history and culture.Â

4. Avenue of Stars

The Avenue of Stars is located along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront   and was built as a tribute to Hong Kong’s rich film industry. You can walk along the promenade while seeing statues and handprints of several mega stars of Chinese cinema – including the legendary Bruce Lee. This area also offers stunning views of Victoria Harbor and the Hong Kong skyline at sunset.

8. Dragon’s Back

For nature and hiking lovers,  Dragon’s Back  is a destination that really must be visited. The scenic trail offers stunning views of Hong Kong’s coastline and green hills. This hike is of medium difficulty and takes around 2-3 hours to complete, depending on your speed. What’s more, you might have the chance to see Hong Kong Disneyland from the top of the mountain.
